Organizations are the highest level of user management in the portal. They let you manage teams, users, projects, and shared assets.

From the organization page, you can view the different organizations you are a part of, as well as manage organizations of which you are an owner or administrator. This can include adding and removing licenses, reassigning licenses, inviting/removing users from the organization, viewing organization projects, and other actions.

The amount of bandwidth along with other useful information can be found in the organization details as well.

Switching Organizations

To switch the currently selected organization, click on the organization name in the top right, then select the desired organization from the drop down menu.

Setting Default Organization

Your default organization will appear bolded in the organization dropdown menu with an x to the right of the name. The default organization will always be your active organization when logging into the portal.

You can change your default organization by pressing the checkmark next to any organization in the dropdown menu.

If no organization is set as the default, the organization that is active when you log out is the organization that will be active when you log back in.

Organization Tabs

Selecting an organization in the organization tab brings up some useful subtabs:


The info tab gives you information about the selected organization. It lists the number of users, projects, teams, and assets, as well as information about the used upload and download bandwidth.


The projects tab shows you information about the projects in the selected organization. It lists the project names in alphabetical order, along with the date last modified.


The users tab shows a list of the users in the selected organization. Here you can add or remove members, and control admin permissions. Clicking on a user will bring you to their user information in the Users Tab.

Click the "+" button to add new members, who you can invite to the organization either by username or by email.


The teams tab shows you a list of the teams currently in your organization. Clicking on one will bring you to the Team Tab where you can manage who belongs to what team.


The licensing tab is where you control your Modest3D product licenses. You can add a license by pasting the key for it into the slot given. By clicking on a specific key, you can add/remove members to/from the license.
