Time Delay Node

Time Delay node allows the developer to create a time delay between two nodes. The delay name and time delay duration can be edited.

By default the Delay node takes an int (type) as its parameter, the number of seconds to wait. There are overloads for this node to set a more percise time period. You can change the overload of any node by right-clicking the node and hovering over "Change Overload".

This overload accepts a double instead of an int. Inputing 2.5 would wait for 2.5 seconds before continuing the lesson.

This overload takes a timespan (type). To create a timespan right-click on the storyboard and select timespan (type) then dereference a value from it. This value also has a few overloads for representing different percisions of time.

  • Op_new (long): Takes number of ticks (seconds)
  • Op_new (int, int, int): Takes number of Hours, Minutes, Seconds.
  • Op_new (int, int, int, int): Takes number of Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds
  • Op_new (int, int, int, int, int): Takes number of Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Milliseconds
