Advanced Navigation

Control Description Mouse and Key Actions

Rotates your view in the 3D scene.

Hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse to navigate.

Pan allows the user to move parallel to the current view plane.

Hold down middle mouse wheel and move the mouse.

Zoom allows the user to inspect the scene at a closer distance.

Scroll forward/back with the middle mouse wheel to zoom in/out.

Rotate throughout the 3D scene. Refine your mouse movements by navigating using the arrows as well.

Hold the right mouse button and move mouse. Tailor your control further by using the arrows to navigate.

In addition to the navigation above, holding shift will move you quicker throughout the 3D scene.

Rotate around a particular object.

Hold down ALT and the left mouse button. Move the mouse around to navigate direction of rotation.

Focuses in on a scene object by going directly to the object.

Double click on the scene object twice with the left mouse button OR Hold down "F" and double click on the scene object.
